Example #1: Bad Teacher
This scene from Bad Teacher (2011) is the perfect example of problematic teaching. I know that this is a comedy and made to be humorous but the way the teacher is speaking to her elementary students are completely innapropriate. I chose this clip because it shows how your students will treat you back if you act so unprofessionally. Viewing this clip, you can even see that during gym class, she throws a dodge ball directly into a students face. If this were to happen in real life, she would have her teaching license suspended. Example #2 -J and C academy
This clip of J and C academy shows a fun and interactive way kids can learn music. The teacher starts off with a little song and rhyme about saying hello which will spark the children's attention. Other than music, she also uses dance as a form of teaching beat which is an excellent way of helping kids "keep the beat". I think overall this is a good example of teaching because the teacher really engages herself in on the activities with her students.
